Since the debut of the Pro Cooking Competition at the Webkinz Stadium, winners of this particular event have been receiving the

shaped trophy from the Pro Beauty Pagent instead of a cooking themed trophy.  We are happy to report that the programming for this glitch has finally be fixed and that WI member swanjo

is the recipient of the very first Gold Cooking Competition Trophy.  Here you can see Sasha posing with her new prize.

And, we have more Stadium news to report.  All members who take part in Stadium competitions now receive letters via KinzPost letting them know how their pet scored.  Here you can see two letters from swanjo’s accounts:  one showing her Webkinz’ win in the Cooking Competition, and another showing her Webkinz’ loss in a Beauty Competition.

Now for a drum roll please! I might just faint!

AN APOLOGY FROM GANZ!

There’s a new Bulletin on http://www.webkinz.com, which contains an apology from Ganz to all the users in Webkinz World.  You can find the bulletin here: http://www.webkinz.com/us_en/bulletinz_recentissues.html  It appears that Ganz is now taking the glitches and issues seriously and understands our frustrations with Webkinz World.  Wonder what’s coming on Wednesday!?

Dear Webkinz Fans,

In recent weeks Webkinz World has run into a number of technical issues while releasing new features onto the site. The addition of multiple languages to areas like the W-Shop and Employment Office caused some issues, and recently other issues delayed the expected launch of our new My Page features. We understand that issues like these can be frustrating. 

We at Ganz are committed to providing a fun and exciting experience for all of our great members. We are working very hard to not only fix these issues, but also put in place new policies and a dedicated team that will prevent such issues from cropping up again. 

Our efforts have now fixed the problems with My Page and it is now open to all. In the coming weeks we will be fixing many more issues, including seeing the return of your favorite player vs. player games, like Atomicolicious.

To say thank you for your patience during this period, tonight during our nightly maintenance, we will be awarding all active members a free Vacation Office ticket to the Tropical Island! If you haven’t tried out this new feature in Webkinz World, it’s easy! Just go to the Vacation Office in the Things to Do menu, click on “My Tickets”, then click on the Tropical island ticket, then click “Go on Vacation”. You’ll then have 24 hours to play on the Tropical Island. 

(Super-secret hint: Keep your ticket until next Wednesday. Something new is coming…)

Now for some my page stuff!These items are clearly from the Coral Cove on the Vacation Island.  Could this mean they are going to be future prizes on the Island Wheel?  Or maybe this is a sign that the raffels in the Coral Cove will start having actual prizes?  We’ll have to wait and see.

Lots of rumors have been swirling around about these next items.  When will they appear in Webkinz World?  At this point we can only guess.

And, could this be the the new Member of the Day Trophy that was announced in the Webkinz Newspaper?
 

Whatever the story is with the items shown above, it is clear that My Page is giving us a sneak peek at something.  However, we must caution everyone that rumors about all of this stuff are going to be flying all over the internet, and you can’t always believe everything you read.

Coral cove news!!!

We discovered something new in the Coral Cove on Vacation Island… The raffles are now giving prizes! She won the following item, a Flowing Palm tree, in the Yellow Zone from 3am-4am this morning.  Just as we suspected with the items showing up in the newly-updated My Page section, you can win the items from the Coral Cove and bring them home!

UPDATE:  It appears that the “raffle glitch” has not been fully fixed yet.  Many WI members are reporting “winning” raffles but not receiving any prizes.  WI member Sydney88 says “at least we can celebrate that some people are receiving prizes.  I myself have won 4 raffles so far but only received one prize.  Still, at least it’s better than nothing!”
