There’s a new competition in the webkinz stadium! It’s the cooking competition! You have no controll over what your pet is doing, but to do well your pet has to be trained in cooking and creativity. Those of you who have been sending your Webkinz to Cooking Classes at the KinzVille Academy should be pleased to hear that Cooking Competitions have arrived at the Webkinz Stadium. Remember, it’s the skills you develop at the Academy that affect how you score in Competition. So, head on over to the Academy and get to work on earning the “pins” (previously known as badges) on your report card.

October’s Pet of the Month will be the Webkinz Pug (large size only)!
Well, to go with the front page of the Webkinz World newspaper’s headline “Two new friends are making a splash!”, we have confirmed the first WI member, aslans, to adopt a Webkinz Fantail Goldfish and Webkinz Manatee, Gabby and Molly!!Here they are with their PSIs in an underwater room, previously non-existent in Webkinz World! The Manatee’s PSI is the Mangrove Treasure Trove and the Goldfish’s PSI is the Fantail Table.Notice how the regular Webkinz Toucan has an “air helmet” when he enters the underwater room, all your regular Webkinz can enter these underwater rooms! Paired with the “air helmet” is the “water bubble” so that your underwater Webkinz can visit the rest of your home! Finally, the PSF for the Goldfish is Daphnia Dafina and the PSF for the Webkinz Manatee is Mangrove Leaf Manicotti. We are very impressed with the thought that went in to programming this new area of Webkinz World, with the “air helmets” and “water bubbles” for the respective pets, and the lack of glitches with the first WI member adoption!

UPDATE: The Grey Wolf has been removed from the Webkinz eStore. We don’t yet know if this is temporary or permanent.

there are several new items were added to the KinzStyle Shop Polo Dress, Pop Rock Princess Hat, Pop Rock Princess Shirt, Pop Rock Princess Skirt, Red Dotty Party Dress, Sailor Tunic, and Snowboarding Jacket. All of these items are exclusive to the KinzStyle Shop.

Three more Webkinz have been officially retired by Ganz: the Beagle, the Collie, and the American Albino. It is worth noting that the American Albino isn’t scheduled for release until next month. Also, the Rhino, which was retired in May, is now officially listed as “Sold Out”. the dalmation is now retired too
3 new w-cares pets
Ganz is now expanding the Webkinz Cares program to include it’s first full-sized Webkinz, the Webkinz Seal. Seals with the red wCares tags should start showing up at retailers in September. Until now, the wCares animals have been an exclusive of Walgreens which, as many of you know, does not have any stores located in Canada. The introduction of this red-tagged Seal means our Canadian members will finally have access to the wCares program.

I just got three new webbies today! They were the tiger snake, the lioness, and the pink googles! They are really cute. I can’t post pics right now because my laptop is acting up.
